Richard Archdeacon is with the Strategy Team for Cisco’s security business. As the EMEA Advisory Chief Information Security Officer works with organisations on their security and resilience strategies. Richard represents Cisco on webinars and at security conferences and events globally.
Previously as the EMEA Chief Technologist at HPE he worked with CISOs on total security transformation programmes for clients in multiple industry sectors in Europe and the Middle East. He also was seconded to the World Economic Forum to develop a set of Cyber Resilience Principles for Boards.
He has worked with industry organizations, has acted as an advisor to the UK Cabinet Office, undertaken research projects for ENISA and has given guest lectures at Oxford. He graduated from Cranfield with an MBA having previously qualified as a lawyer.
