Markus Klose, 46, married, 3 children, living in the Herzogtum-Lauenburg district in Schleswig-Holstein.
I have a 20-year love affair with IT technology, which started at Siemens, then moved on to Fujitsu Siemens, EMC and finally Dell, before finding my way into the data center and, in particular, data management systems. In 2019, I started at my current employer Pure Storage.
My guiding principle is that technology is the key to future prosperity and security, and I try to base my daily actions on this guiding principle.
IT, especially the permanent innovation of IT operations is particularly close to our hearts at Pure Storage, as we want to support the ongoing digitalization and the accompanying increase in complexity both in our customers’ data centers and in consolidated data centers of the major service providers.
We observe that the need for fast, scalable data storage is constantly growing, however, the management, operation and unfortunately the securing of the data is far from being done at the same speed. Complexity increases of this kind pose ever greater challenges for digitalization and multi-cloud projects.
We firmly believe that with Pure Storage’s technologies our customers do not have to compromise on the way to the hybrid cloud.
