World Server Throwing Tour Spanish Qualifier

The World Server Throwing Association (WSTA) brings the datacenter’s most intense underground sport—which has been criticized as “needlessly brutal to servers”—into the mainstream for the whole MSP and internet infrastructure community to enjoy.

The World Server Throwing Tour comes to Barcelona for the Spanish Qualifier (WSTTSQ), so this is your chance to demonstrate their technique and raw power.

(It’s like the Olympics but geekier, you’re allowed to film it on your phone, and can wear whatever logos you want.)

The Server Throwing Arena is where we find out who’s strong, mean, and keeping their datacenter clean!

How It Works

A selection of server-throwing athletes will show their raw power in front of a live audience of MSP GLOBAL attendees. This intense sport welcomes all genders and ability levels: the only requirement is your desire to throw a server really far.

Each thrower has two attempts, and the furthest result is recorded. MSP GLOBAL provides prizes for the top three finishers in the Men’s and Women’s divisions, who will also get a free VIP ticket to CloudFest 2026. There they will compete against winners in other qualifiers to determine who will wear the WSTC Championship Belt!
