What Makes MSP GLOBAL Different, and Why We Do It

When you stay in the lane of typical event communication language and marketing-speak, it’s all too easy for the spirit of what you represent to evaporate. What I’m getting at here is… sometimes you just have to flex.

So we created this post, where we detail exactly what makes this festival series different from other MSP events, and why service providers of all sizes will find game-changing value once they arrive. Check it out.

Why MSP Global Is Not Like Other Events

As anyone in this community who knows me will have already guessed, I’ve internally referred to this project as the Not Like Us Campaign: as a writer, I’m not going to NOT be paying attention to Pulitzer Prize-winners! While we would never take swings at other specific event production teams—that’s just not cool—our fast-paced and hilarious ideation process was also surprising in just how many differences we found between what MSP GLOBAL does and what other events do. “Top 5” became “Top 10”, and even that wasn’t enough. 

It Takes Careful Forethought to Rock This Hard

Just like an arena rock show, the spontaneity and energy you see take a lot of planning and effort to pull off, all while making the final experience seem effortless and even improvised. Each festival we produce actually takes more than a year to create—so we’re already thinking ahead to 2026 even before our 2025 event kicks off. That way our main theme, subthemes, and key sessions have already been double- and triple-validated by our Advisory Board and those working on the cutting edge of the digital transformation industry.

So when we bring the community rollercoasters, live concerts, and headline speakers from beyond the grave, we’re doing it for a larger and highly specific purpose: to create an immersive experience to help every attendee think about their role in this ecosystem in a different way, and to approach even the scariest challenges with an adventurous attitude. And to remind them that, through it all, they are part of a community that will support them when they dare to get creative.

So yeah, MSP GLOBAL is not like other events.
We will never be like other events.

We will always try new and crazy things.

We are proud of this, we will keep trying to outdo ourselves, and we invite you to take this ride with us.
